ACE libero Justine Jazareno is pregnant and will be sidelined when the Akari Chargers compete in the new PVL season starting on Feb. 20.
VP Global Management, the firm handling the pro career of Jazareno, announced the former La Salle standout and long-time partner Jhonas are expecting their first child.
“We’re eagerly excited to share that our volleyball star, Ms. Justine Jazareno, is eagerly anticipating the joys of motherhood. She has made the decision to take a leave of absence from the game to focus on her forthcoming bundle of joy,” VP Global said on its Facebook account yesterday.
The management also expressed gratitude to Akari for its support to Jazareno.
“We thank Akari Chargers for fully expressing their continued support as she embarks on this beautiful journey.”
