WeTV Original releases the poster and trailer of its rom-com series “BetCin,” which will premiere on the streaming service this October.
From the first taping day, Kylie Padilla and Andrea Torres fully embraced their roles as Beth and Cindy, who are collectively known as the social media superstar couple “BetCin.” What their followers don’t know is that their relationship is nowhere near as perfect as their posts appear. When they get invited to join a contest for the most-loved social media sweethearts, they need to act convincing enough to have a shot at the large cash prize at the end. Beth sees it as a chance for a fresh start, while Cindy hopes it will be a way to get Beth back. Will they be able to pull it off and will love win in the end?
“BetCin” director Shugo Praico and story creator Fatrick Tabada co-wrote the eight-episode series with writer John Carlo Pacala. The series is line-produced by Rein Entertainment Productions, the same team involved in the WeTV Original series “Section St. Valentine: The Disappearance of Divine.”
“Barik Pa,” the original theme song of “BetCin” performed by Charm De Guzman, also streams on WeTV.
