Securing a better future and a life free from the worries of tomorrow – these are some of the things that most of us work hard for our whole lives. We sacrifice and bet everything for it, we stay hungry, motivated, and sometimes, if necessary, we tend to have a need for “Greed.”

Actress Nadine Lustre is set to shock the Vivamax audience with her newest acting piece — “Greed” — a suspense thriller co-starring Diego Loyzaga and directed by Yam Laranas that is currently streaming on Vivamax Plus.

Nadine stars opposite Diego Loyzaga. They play a young couple from a remote village.

They find a chance to free themselves from the hardships of life and start anew as they win the biggest prize in the lottery. Not wanting anyone to know about this great news, the couple decides to keep it a secret until they have moved to a different town. But a former neighbor learns about their dumb luck and tries to steal it from them. What follows after is a nightmare of a hunt fueled by dark intentions and selfishness.

Nadine’s last movie was “Indak” in 2019. With “Greed,” she shows a different side — grittier and more mature. In a recent interview, she admitted it was a challenge finding her groove back in front of the camera.

“Hindi ako humaharap sa camera, so there were times na nag-shoot kami lately, hindi ko na alam kung paano ako magpo-pose or mag-smile,” the actress revealed. “Back to zero ang skills ko kasi nga, ang tagal kong hindi nagtrabaho. Nanibago ako. Although nag-music ako pero iba naman kasi ‘yung experience roon.”

It’s been her dream to work with “Greed’s” director Yam Laranas. The award-winning filmmaker is behind Death of a Girlfriend,” “Paraluman” “Nightshift,” “Echo,” “The Road,” and “Aurora,” an entry to the Metro Manila Film Festival and Nadine can’t help but feel she was not giving enough in her portrayal in “Greed.”

“Whenever I acted with Direk Yam for this film, ang feeling ko may kulang or may mali.

Sobrang nakaka¬panibago. Eventually, natama ko with the help of Direk Yam and my co-actors.”
