“Pilipinas Got Talent” (2011) grand champion Marcelito Pomoy stunned with his performance of the song “Con Te Partiro” in “America’s Got Talent,” which aired here Tuesday night.
Pomoy sang effortlessly in two voices (tenor and soprano) and two languages (Italian and English), earning a standing ovation from the judges, Howie Mandel, Alesha Dixon, Heidi Klum and Simon Cowell.
The 35-year-old will face accordionist Hans, child violinist Tyler Butler-Figueroa, dog trainor Alexa Lauenburger, high flying act Sandou Trio Russian Bar, acrobats Duo Transcend and golden buzzer acts 14-year-old singer Angelina Jordan, dance group Boogie Storm, dance crew V. Unbeatable and shadow dance group Silhouettes in the finals next week.
