Actor Dennis Trillo is convinced girlfriend Jennylyn Mercado would make the perfect wife for him.

But Jennylyn has said she does not think she is ready to settle down, although she has said Dennis is her greatest love,

“I don’t think that, at 32, I’m ready to become a wife — a fulltime wife,” she confessed, “As it is, gusto ko munang maging ideal mom to my son (Alex Jazz, her son with her ex-boyfriend, actor Patrick Garcia).

“Pag nag-asawa na ako ngayon, posibleng magkaanak akong muli. Although, I know, Alex Jazz would appreciate having a baby brother or sister,” she added.

Dennis, 38, also has a son, Calix Andreas, who is almost the same age as Alex Jazz. The boy’s mom is Carlene Aguilar.

“We get along well,” said Dennis of his relationship with Carlene. “She allows me to visit and borrow Calix.”

Dennis and Jennylyn are both blessed with busy careers. She plays Dingdong Dantes’ leading lady in GMA’s most important teleserye at the moment, “Descendants of the Sun.”

Dennis, meanwhile, is considering an offer from a rival network. He appeared in the ABS-CBN suspense thriller, “Hellcome Home,” last year.

Dennis and Jennylyn own a cat café, Litterbucks, on Maginhawa Street in Quezon City. The café serves tea, coffee and cookies baked by Jennylyn.
