Singer-actress Janella Salvador was a month pregnant when she flew to London with her mom, singer Janine Desiderio, brother Russell and baby daddy Markus Patterson.
A source told us Janella and Markus did not plan to make things hush-hush. “Actually, plano naman talagang ilantad may mga inayos lang, kasi marami namang nakakaalam.”
In Janella’s vlog, she showed the couple having a pictorial on her seventh month of pregnancy, so it was not exactly a secret.
However, Janella and Markus never really said anything about being a couple even though they have been spotted together last year. When asked about the real score, though, they chose to keep mum about it.
In her vlog, Janella admitted her excitement and nervousness about presenting their son, Jude, to the public.
“You’re too precious to not be shared. The world deserves to see you grow into your own unique self,” said the actress.
Jude was born Oktubre 20 in London via normal delivery after a long and painful labor.
“Hey, Jude, as I compose this, I’m staring at your perfect little face with all the love I didn’t know I had in me. I’m feeling so many emotions, but mostly excited that we’re finally ready to introduce you to the world,” said Janella.
“Well, if I’m going to be honest, I’m quite nervous about this day because I know how harsh the world can be. If your dad and I can have you all to ourselves forever in our quiet world, we would, but that would be too selfish.
“You’re too precious to not be shared. The world deserves to see the precious smiles you give us – the ones that melt our hearts. The world deserves to see you grow in your own unique self. I can’t believe you’re mine.”
The first-time dad is as overwhelmed with emotions as Janella.
“The minute I saw you I knew I would do anything in this world to protect you and I can’t wait to introduce you to the world and hold you in my arms even if you think it’s uncool as you walk off to your friends. You are loved forever and always by your mother and I.”
Janella also opened up about what mothers all over the world know — “It truly is the best feeling something you won’t be able to fathom until you go through it yourself,” she noted.
Baby Jude got sweet messages from godmothers Erich Gonzales and Maja Salvador.
Lola Janine also had a touching message for her first apo: “You sure made the daily COVID-restricted lives of the people around you a lot better by your mere presence. And now, it’s time to share that joy with the rest of the world. Russel and I are very lucky to be one of the first to hold you, to hug you, and to witness your transformation from being a fetus to the adorable, interactive, infant, that you now are.
“You even came to me in a dream even before you were born, but I didn’t see your face. I know you came to us as a surprise, but you are one pleasant surprise that we all don’t mind having. We love you very much, and I know that the whole world will love you just as much.”
Even Janella’s dad and Janine’s ex husband, singer Juan Miguel Salvador, welcomed the baby.
“Hey Jude, it’s me Toto, welcome to the world little one. Everybody is waiting to see you, I can’t wait to see you so, when things normalize tell your mom and dad to bring you home right away okay so, I can hold you, so I can love you. See you soon, I love you baby.”
