Alex Gonzaga, 36, recently shared exciting news at her launch as the face of Chef Ayb’s Paragis Tea. Both of her parents, Mommy Pinty and Daddy Bonoy Gonzaga, are also endorsing the herbal tea.
Always candid about her and her husband Mikee Morada’s desire to become parents, Alex revealed that her doctor confirmed she is now capable of conceiving after some recent bloodwork.
“By God’s grace, during my last test is positive na ang katawan ko. Anytime pwede na akong magbuntis,” she said.
“Tinignan niya ‘yung blood, pwede pala ‘yun di ko po alam, [sabi ng doctor] na parang oh your body can take pregnancy. So right now, it’s 60% OK.”
Before receiving this good news, Alex had undergone In vitro fertilization (IVF) and Lymphocyte Immunization Therapy (LIT) to help with her pregnancy efforts.
“Kasi nakita ang aking immune system ay masyadong mataas,” she disclosed. “My body doesn’t recognize pregnancy, so that’s the way it goes. So though nagta-try po kami, hindi po umaangat masyado ang aming blood level, immune level.”
Prior to the good news, Alex had started drinking Paragis tea. She believes it has significantly contributed to her overall health, as well as her parents’. Daddy Bonoy noted that the tea has improved his sleep, while Mommy Pinty praised its ability to flush out toxins and cleanse the body, enhancing the immune system.
Alex added that Paragis also promotes healthy sperm. “Even si Mikee po kasi, it also is good for men’s swimmers and reproductive organs. So number one benefit talaga is for reproduction, pero the moment na mabuntis ka, you have to stop kasi nga siyempre, it’s detoxifying. Baka ang ilabas niyo ‘yun,” she further explained.
Chef Ayb’s Paragis is proudly Halal and FDA approved, but does not make any therapeutic claims. However, within the seven months since they started using the product, Alex, Mommy Pinty, and Daddy Bonoy have only noticed positive effects.
“Yung claims po siyempre hindi po namin yan, talagang sinasabi pa rin po tayong disclaimer na no approved therapeutic claims, pero ito po ‘yung nung pinakilala sa amin na nakakatulong po so, the moment na tinry namin, that’s why it took us at least seven months para ang group i-launch. Nung nakita po namin ‘yung effectivity niya within sa aming family and even sa aking friends, and even the family of my husband and even friends from the United States, hanggang ngayon nag o-order pa rin dun na po namin nasabi na ok na alternative or option na pupwede po nating inumin na maaaring makatulong sa’yo. Syempre kapag minsan sakit, kapag ka malubhang sakit, hopefully this paragis syempre capsule and tea will help. Pero syempre iba pa rin po ang consulta ng doktor ‘di ba? So sa lahat naman po ng aming mga binibigyan, like mga may kilala kaming may mga sakit, ito po ay tulong lamang,” explained Alex.
Chef Aybs’ Paragis Tea is a proudly Filipino brand dedicated to natural wellness. Its unique processing method sets it apart, as Chef Aybs employs an old-fashioned, meticulously guarded technique for drying and preparing Paragis grass, ensuring the tea retains its complete nutritional and healing properties. This artisanal method, passed down through generations, preserves the tea’s detoxifying, anti-inflammatory, and immune-boosting benefits while delivering a smooth, rich flavor in every cup.
Chef Aybs’ journey began in 2017 when she witnessed her grandmother using boiled Paragis grass (Eleusine Indica) to alleviate arthritis symptoms.
