GMA continues to earn nods from international award-giving bodies with eight nominations at this year’s Asian Television Awards (ATA).
Julie Anne San Jose was nominated as Best Actress in a Leading Role for her role as Vicky in Synergy88 Entertainment Media’s “Barangay 143” which aired on GMA 7.
“Barangay 143”, the first Filipino anime series, also received nominations under the following categories: Best 2D Animated Programme, Best Direction (Fiction), and Best Theme Song for the songs “Alanganin,” “Para Sa Isa’t Isa,” “Dito Sa Barangay 143,” and “Liga ng Buhay.”
Martin del Rosario, on the other hand, is among the finalists for Best Leading Male Performance in the Digital category. The versatile Kapuso actor is part of the primetime series “The Gift.”
