Former actor Mico Palanca has passed away.
His death was confirmed by his family on Monday, December 9. Mico’s sister, Erika Hocson, posted the following statement on her social media account: “We are extremely saddened and heartbroken by the sudden passing of our beloved brother, Miko Palanca. The whole family is grateful for the incredible outpour of love and support that has been coming in today.
The source of Palanca’s death was not revealed, although there was the actor was suffering from depression.
The family has asked for privacy in their time of grief.
“As of now, we would like to respectfully request for privacy as we go through this very difficult time. Again, we appreciate all the love and support – thank you so much. – Pita, Lisa, Bernard, Erika, Martin and Santi.”
Mico last appeared in “Bagani” and “Nang Ngumiti ang Langit.”
