Cassy Legaspi so enjoyed her first time to experience lock-in taping while making “First Yaya” that although there were a lot of challenges because of the current pandemic, she readily adjusted.
“Although difficult, gusto ko,” she said. “Excited naman po kasi.”
The newest Palmolive endorser also admitted sharing a special bond with her co-stars in her last series, the toprating GMA primetime show, “First Yaya.” At a recent Zoom press con, she revealed that up to now, she and friends like Sanya Lopez, Kakai Bautista, and screen partner Joaquin Domagoso remain close and continue conversing in their Viber group.
She said she is in showbiz for the long haul, and has been following the advice of her parents, actors Carmina Villaroel and Zoren Legaspi. Not only does Cassy get career tips from her famous parents, she also gets help on how to handle her finances.
“My parents would give suggestions on how to handle my money but I decide where my money goes. Pero when they see na medyo mali, they remind me, sure ka? You don’t want to save money? I’m also learning from them how to invest,” she related.
On what she plans to do next, Cassy said: “I want to work with my ‘First Yaya’ cast again.
Sana, baka naman may book 2 dyan. Other than that, I really want to try movies again and work with a lot of people, Kuya Alden (Richards), Ate Marian (Rivera) and our newest Kapuso, Ate Bea Alonzo.”
