PIANO virtuosos Danaielle Haley Magtoto and Nyle Quinzel Tapdasan, shone brightly at SM’s Little Stars 2019 grand finals held recently at the SMX Convention Center in Manila.

Danaielle Haley, 8, who represented SM City East Ortigas, and Nyle Quinzel Tapdasan, 7, from SM City North Edsa, wowed the audience with their piano performances. Danaille played the classic “Turkish March” by Mozart, while Nyle amazed the audience with his rendition of “The Entertainer.”

The grand winners each received a brand-new Chevrolet Sail MT, P100,000 cash, a trip to China for two (including round-trip tickets, hotel accommodations and tours), a management contract with Regal Films, a four-year college scholarship grant from National University, and P30,000 worth of Toy Kingdom Gift Cards.

The evening showcased a variety of talents. First runner-up Ludwig Hans Carizo of SM City Marikina performed the “Fight Song,” second runner-up  Gio Ryan Valerio of SM City Baliwag delighted the audience with an energetic drum performance of “It’s My Life,” and third runner-up  Patrice Michaela Asuncion of SM City North Edsa  danced to the tune of My Little Pony’s “Magic Dance.”

The other talented tots were James Tamondong of SM City Rosales, Caleb Hans Ong of SM City Cagayan de Oro, Iyana Abrielle Yturralde of SM City Telabastagan, Lyka Jane Bayang of SM City General Santos and Francis Lee of SM City Calamba.

Hosted by Ryan Agoncillo and SM Little Stars 2014 grand prize winner Chunsa Jung, the event’s distinguished board of judges included singer and actress Karylle, movie director Joey Reyes, TV personality Tuesday Vargas, and SM Little Stars 2013 third prize winner Esang de Torres.

One of the evening’s highlights was the stunning performance of SM Little Stars winners from China — SM Xiamen’s Su Taichen and Chen Jiaqi, SM Jinjiang’s Ke Junquan and Zhang Zhexin, , SM Chengdu’s Lai Yichen and Fu Xinyue, SM Chongqing’s Ma Ziqian and Mei Yinxue, SM Suzhou’s Liang Jiaming and Xue Xinrui, SM Zibo’s Gao Linbo and Sun Ruoxi and SM Tianjin’s Duan Muziyi and Li Molin who all showcased their talents.
