‘He understands my passion for the work that I do and I’m sure he’s never gonna ask me to give it up — Sue Ramirez’

SUE Ramirez is doing her first Vivamax movie but don’t expect her to disrobe like most other Vivamax sexy babes as she is doing a wholesome romantic drama, “How to Love Mr. Heartless,” where she is paired for the first time with Diego Loyzaga.
“I was excited to work with Diego kasi we’re really good friends sa ABS pa,” she says. “We used to host ‘ASAP’ together. Masaya ako that after all these years of friendship, finally, I get to act with him.”
In the story, they play classmates who start on the wrong foot because Sue as Yanyan is very friendly while Diego as Blue is cold and snobbish.
“From day one, wala na kaming walls or barriers na dapat basagin to be able to work well together. He has become more mature and I’m happy to see his growth as an actor sa mga pinagdaanan niya through the years.”
Off cam, it’s common knowledge Sue is in a relationship with actor Javi Benitez who won as mayor of Victorias City in Negros Occidental. It’s good Javi doesn’t ask her to keep him company in Victorias City?
“He knows how much I love my job. He understands my passion for the work that I do and I’m sure he’s never gonna ask me to give it up.”

Dolly De Leon became the toast of the Cannes International Film Festival last month because of her acclaimed performance as Abigail, a toilet cleaner in a cruise ship who becomes the leader of its rich passengers when they’re marooned in an island.
This is in the Swedish film that won Palme D’Or as best picture, “Triangle of Sadness,” directed by Ruben Ostlund. But who is Dolly de Leon? She is the first to admit that she is not known by the people in her own country. She’s a mom and has four children, the eldest being 26 and the youngest is 9. She started as a theater actress in UP where she was a theater arts major. Then she did soaps and films and got a good role in Erik Matti’s HBO Asia series, “Folklore.”
In 2020, she won the FAMAS best supporting actress award for her role in the searing movie about domestic violence, “Verdict.” She found out about the audition for “Triangle of Sadness” and many other local actresses also took it in 2018, but she’s the one who’s so lucky to be chosen.
They shot the film in 2020 on location in Greece for two months. She even has a steamy love scene with British actor, Harris Dickinson, who starred in the action film, “The King’s Man.” Harris could very well be her son as he’s only 25 years old.
Dolly has now finished a new local movie, “Kitty K7,” about a sexy cam girl played by Rose Van Ginkle. She plays Rose’s mother in the story. So, if you’re curious about the quality of her performance, now is your chance to watch her in “Kitty K7” that starts streaming on Vivamax starting July 8.

Lexi Gonzales is the first runner-up in “Starstruck 7” and she’s now busy with both acting and hosting assignments. She is now a regular in the hit primetime mystery-drama, “Love You Stranger,” where she plays an actress opposite “Starstruck 7” male winner Kim de Leon.
And not only that, she was chosen to be one of the mainstay hosts in GMA’s adaptation of the blockbuster Korean action-variety show, “Running Man,” and they will be taping it on location in Seoul no less. Contestants will be given missions that they’re supposed to complete within a given time period to win the race.
“Nagpapasalamat po talaga ako sa GMA for their trust in me,” she says. “Since mapasali ako sa ‘Starstruck,’ hindi ako nababakante at sunod-sunod ang assignments na ibinibigay nila sa akin. I feel so grateful kasi malaking tulong ito sa family namin, lalo na sa autistic brother ko who I care for so much.”
Meantime, she is now being linked to Gil Cuerva. It’s said that they really became so close while taping “Love You Stranger” in location in Pampanga. Is it true na they are now officially on?
“Ay hindi po,” Lexi is quick to reply. “But we do admit that we are dating. But as of now, mas priority ko ang career ko. Nagsisimula pa lang ako sa GMA, so dapat lang na ito ang unahin ko.”
