HEAVEN Peralejo and Marco Gallo both admit that since they did the hit series “The Rain in Espana,” they’ve gotten much closer to each other.
“It cannot be helped,” says Heaven. “Kasi kami lagi ang magkasama, lalo na ngayon na we are promoting our movie, ‘The Ship Show,’ together.”
So what is the real score between them now?
“We don’t want to put a label on it,” says Marco. “Kasi when you put labels on a relationship, magkakaroon na ng expectations, ng dos and don’ts. So at this point, we just have this something between us and we don’t want to waste it.”
Heaven says she doesn’t want to publicize her relationships anymore. “Before I was very open to the public and it didn’t really do me any good,” she adds. “Basta sa ngayon, I will say that Marco and I are just enjoying each other’s company. We are taking our time and we don’t want to rush ourselves.”
“We are taking it real slow as we want to be super sure before anything else,” says Marco.
“If, in the long run, we end up with each other, it’s because we are already sure that we are choosing to love each other. Basta sa ngayon, we’re more than just a love team, we have a deep appreciation of each other’s company.”
They’re happy that the feedback on their first movie together as a love team, “The Ship Show” now showing in theaters, is very favorable. Viewers say it’s apparent on the big screen that they are really “so bagay.”

For the last half of 2023, GMA has prepared an amazing list of new drama shows to enthrall viewers. Here are two of the promising series to watch:
“The Missing Husband” is a family suspense drama with Mark Reyes of “Voltes V Legacy” as the director. It stars Rocco Nacino in the title role of the husband who disappears, with Yasmien Kurdi as his worried wife. The show is also the comeback vehicle for Nadine Samonte, Yasmien’s batchmate in “Starstruck” who is now married with three children.
The story concerns a couple that became the victim of a ghastly scam. Anton (Rocco) and Millie (Yasmien) play college sweethearts who later get married and face a lot of problems as husband and wife after they become victims of a horrible scam.
Also in big cast are Jak Roberto, Sophie Albert, Max Eigenmann, Michael Flores, Joross Gamboa, Shamaine Buencamino, Bryce Eusebio and Cai Cortez.
“Lilet Matias: Attorney at Law” is a new legal drama series starring Jo Berry in her latest solo drama after “Onanay” and “Little Princess.” Directed by Adolfo Alix Jr, Jo is supported by a powerhouse cast led by Martin del Rosario, Edgar Allan Guzman and Jason Abalos, with Sheryl Cruz, Joyce Ching, Glenda Garcia, Teresa Loyzaga, Joaquin Domagoso, Ariel Villasanta, and Sparkle stars Yvette Sanchez, Zonia Mejia, Hannah Arguelles.
In the story, Jo is the very dedicated lawyer Lilet Matias. She is always ready to defend the oppressed and gets to handle different kinds of cases involving social injustice. But her values are challenged when she handles the case of a rape victim who turns out to be her long-lost half-sister.

Tiffany Grey first joined a pageant in her native Cebu, then Viva discovered her and she did supporting roles in “Putahe,” “The Influencer” and “Fall Guy.” Her parents were against her going sexy. “But dream ko po talaga ever since ang mag-artista,” she says. “So sinuportahan na lang nila ako. But I told them not to watch ‘Kamadora’ kasi ito ang pinakamatapang na nagawa ko. Sabi ko, trailer na lang ang panoorin nila para huwag silang ma-shock.”
Director Roman Perez says she has the potential to be a “Vivamax Queen” with her physically and emotionally challenging role in “Kamadora,” where she plays Ica, a woman who gets involved in a deadly love triangle involving her policeman boyfriend, Roger (Junjun Quintana), and a rich guy whose family owns the department store where she works, Dave (Victor Relosa).
In mahjong, the kamador is the one who makes “kamada” the tiles used in the game.
Tiffany is a “kamadora” in that she has become the personal doormat abused by men who use her for their evil deeds. But she gets tired of it and eventually gets back at them. “In the end, it’s really about woman empowerment,” says Tiffany. “Tayong mga babae, ‘di dapat magpagamit sa mga lalaki.”
“Kamadora” streams on Vivamax on August 11.
