BEA Alonzo flew to the US last week and guess who is with her, her rumored boyfriend Dominic Roco. They’re very secretive about their dates here and now, they seem to be more open about their relationship while abroad. Folks says Bea is ashamed of her BF as he’s just a male starlet who plays supporting roles while she’s a big star. But honestly, who cares? As long as he’s faithful to her and not like her past boyfriend who “ghosted” her, right?
Bella does not need to defend herself from bashers who call her “walang utang na loob” for moving to GMA-7. But she still answered them when she and her Zambales farm were featured in Jessica Soho’s number one Sunday show. She said GMA’s offer came at the right time.
“It just felt right,” added Bea, who left for her US vacation last week. “I follow my heart.
Kapag magaan, it means, tama. I got the blessing of my former bosses naman and I’m very grateful to all the opportunities they gave me. So I know wala akong tinatapakang tao.”
In a video in her own YouTube channel titled “New Beginnings,” she thanked not only ABS-CBN but all the production people who helped her during her stay there. She added that she’s hoping they will still be friends and that they’ll understand her. She said her contract with ABS ended as of November 2020.
And she added: “I am an actress. And I am here to create. That is my purpose. And that is my task. I owe that to my audience. I know this journey will lead me to a door of many opportunities, new learnings and growth.”
Bea will be back in Manila in the first week of August and the first GMA assignment she’ll do is to shoot her movie with Alden Richards.

“Nerisa” is a sex-drama thriller that launches the career of former Binibining Pilipinas Tourism Cindy Miranda as a sexy actress. She has played supporting roles before, but “Nerisa” is her launching film where she plays the title role no less.
She is required to do a lot of disrobing and doing steamy scenes, so what did she do to prepare for them? “I have to psyche myself to throw away my inhibitions,” she said. “But showing skin is not enough. Maraming maganda, sexy, willing to undress, so more than anything else, you have to show your competence as a good and credible actress. Kaya nga I’m glad and thankful we have a good script written by Ricky Lee and our director, Lawrence Fajardo, really helped me a lot in interpreting my role.”
Cindy as Nerisa is a beautiful but mysterious maiden who a fisherman, Aljur Abrenica as Obet, finds floating unconscious in the sea. He takes her home to his island and she eventually becomes his wife. But upon her arrival, strange things and mishaps befall on the island so the islanders blame her for being a jinx that brings misery to them.
Nerisa ignores them as she knows the men are just lusting after her beauty and the women are merely jealous of her sexiness. The only thing she is concerned about is her savior, Obet, and when he goes missing one day, she vows to do everything to get him back.
Her leading man, Aljur Abrenica, has just broken up with wife Kylie Padilla and some folks are accusing her as a homewrecker. “Ay, hindi po ako ang dahilan. Mabait na leading man si Aljur pero wala pong anumang namagitan sa amin while doing the film. Maiinit ang love scenes namin in ‘Nerisa,’ but in the end, acting lang ang lahat. What matters is how you portray your love scenes in front of the camera and make it appear na parang totoo. But I just want to stress that this movie is more than the sexy scenes.”
