The ex-flames, who were together in films such as “Cross My Heart” and “Friends in Love,” are now back together in the small screen.
It’s final. Sharon Cuneta will be joining the cast of the long-running action series top billed by Coco Martin, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”
The actress, who has lost a lot of weight, was recently given a special welcome by Kapamilya executives and the “Probinsyano” team.
Sharon will reportedly play the ex of Rowell Santiago’s character, President Oscar Hidalgo.
Naturally, this will require a lot of flashbacks featuring Sharon and Rowell. How will the production establish the back story of Rowell and Sharon’s characters?
Said a kibitzer, “Iyan ang dapat abangan.”
Sharon and Rowell were paired in projects in the past. They were also former sweethearts.
Later, Sharon, of course, married another screen partner, Gabby Concepcion, with whom she is now separated. She is now with Senator Kiko Pangilinan. Rowell, as we now all know, has remained single.

Shaina Magdayao just laughed at the rumor she’s carrying the child of Piolo Pascual.
The truth of the matter is that she and Piolo are just close. But there is no romance between them, she stressed.
“Kung meron ba, bakit kailangang ilihim?” she was overheard saying. “We are both unattached.”
The 44-year-old Piolo is single. But he has a son, singer-actor Iñigo Pascual. Piolo was never married to Iñigo’s mom, who now resides in the US.
Vina Morales, Shaina’s elder sister, said it is not going to be a problem welcoming Piolo to their family.

Albert Martinez looks younger than his real age, which is 60 years old.
“Ganyan daw kasi kapag in love ang isang lalaki,” said a kibitzer. “Bumabata.”
It seems the real thing between Albert and his “Las Hermanas” co-star Faith da Silva, 20.
Faith’s dad, Dennis da Silva, was a former Regal contract star. He is now in jail serving time.
Meanwhile, Albert’s three children with the late Liezl Martinez are all married.

Former Miss Universe Rabiya Mateo said she’s not kidding when she said she plans to put up a funeral home.
She’s already saving for her future business. “Gusto nga raw niya kasi, maging maganda ang funeral home para raw hind morbid ang dating.”
Rabaya, who finished Physical Therapy from the Iloilo Doctor’s College, also wants to learn how to do the makeup for the deceased.
She just smiles when she’s told it’s weird that she wants to learn how to that.
Does she think there is money in this industry?
“Patay na nga ‘yung tao, bakit importante pang maging maganda ang kita?” she reportedly answered.
Anytime now, Rabiya will start taping for her role in the Book 2 of Senator Bong Revilla’s “Agimat ng Agila.” Sanya Lopez will reprise her role in the series.
“Sanya and I will do action scenes. And we are both excited,” Rabiya said.
