Guess why Sanya Lopez is doubly excited about the report that “First Yaya,” where she plays the title role, will have a part two?
“Kasi, I will still play the same role,” she explained, “And my ‘alaga’ Cassy (Legaspi) will again play the role of the eldest.”
Cassy or Cassandra, of course, is one of the twins of Zoren Legaspi and Carmina Villaroel. Carry’s twin is Mavy, short for Maverick.
“I have no idea yet how the story will go, pero tiyak, maganda raw, I was assured by our director (L.A. Madridejos),” said Sanya.
“It will still feature daw Maxine Medina and Pancho Magno as my co-stars.”
Another great news Sanya just received is that Senator Bong Revilla also wants her again to play his leading lady in his new action project.
Whether it’s going to be a movie or another series, she has no idea yet.
She might also get to work with Maja Salvador in the Bong Revilla project, Sanya added.

Barbie is lucky because her Kuya Jak is a good guy, said Sanya.
Sanya is also happy for her elder brother, Jak Roberto, 27, who will soon star in a GMA series.
“Magaling siya,” said Sanya. “He also sings. And is a very good photographer. Lately, pinag-u-usapan ang mga pictures niyang kinunan, na ang subject ay ang girlfriend niyang si Barbie Forteza.

Now that her reign as Miss Universe-Philippines is over, Rabiya Mateo is ready to go full blast in show business.
She has just signed up with GMA and a number of projects has been lined up for her.
Among her wish is to work with Kapuso leading man Alden Richards.
Rabiya is also open to playing kontrabida.
“Sa pagiging kontrabida daw nasusukat ang galing ng isang artista,” she said. “Well, I’d welcome that.”
Only 24 years old, Rabiya said it will take a while before she falls in love again. She separated with her boyfriend of four years, a fellow Ilonggo, a few months ago.
The guy seems to want to enter showbiz, too. He auditioned for “Pinoy Big Brother.”

Someone said two obvious reasons why Kisses Delavin failed to make it to the Top 5 in Miss Universe-Philippines 2021 are her height and her personality.
“Sayang nga dahil kung nanalo daw sana si Delavin, whatever prize she would have gotten ay idu-donate niya sa charity,” said a critic of the Kapuso star.
Kisses, an only child, comes from a wealthy family in Masbate. They are also known to be charitable.
Friends tell Kisses to concentrate on her career or continue with her studies at the De la Salle University.
Kisses’ real name is Kirsten Danielle Tan Delavin.

How time flies.
The son and daughter of actor Wendell Ramos are following in his footsteps.
Tanya and Saviour Ramos were recently introduced by GMA as part of their newest roster of stars.
The two auditioned at the GMA Artist Center and both passed.
Wendell was still very young when he began his career as a model. Top showbiz manager and producer, the late Douglas Quijano, was the one who developed his career.
Douglas also handled the careers of Richard Gomez and Joey Marquez then.
“They all appeared in a show, created by Douglas for ABS-CBN, ‘Palibhasa Lalaki’,” said a kibitzer.
Joey later became mayor of Paranaque City for three terms.
Now retired from politics, he is back to doing movies and TV shows.
Richard, meanwhile, is currently running for a seat in congress. He is on his third term as mayor of Ormoc City.
“Kaya tatakbo for the position of Lucy (Torres, his wife) who is in her third term as representative.
Will Wendell try politics, too? He smiled before replying, “I don’t think politics is my cup of tea.”
