He can now be seen with Marga Vargas as host of “Frontline sa Umaga.”
Paolo Bediones was already a popular name on TV when he suddenly left the scene without much fanfare.
This may be why people are excited with his decision to stage a comeback.
Paolo and Marga Vargas will host “Frontline sa Umaga,” on TV5. It airs from Monday to Friday at 6 a.m.
An Atenean, Paolo is tall and good-looking and appeared in movies, including “Exodus,” “Shake, Rattle and Roll XI” and “Enchanted Kingdom.”
His fans know him best for hosting GMA’s “Extra Challenge” and “Survivor Philippines.”
The 47-year-old news anchor is in a relationship with actress Lara Morena. They have reportedly adopted a baby girl.

Angeline Quinto never made secret she was adopted by her Mama Bob, who died in November of last year.
“Kung sabagay, sa Sampaloc, well-known ang background ko,” she once revealed in an interview.
“Sa nabanggit din na community kasi nakatira ang tunay kong mother.
“Bata pa ako when my Mama Bob suggested that she adopt me, as she told my birth mom na wala siyang [Mama Bob] anak na babae.
“My mom reportedly agreed immediately, as she wanted to go abroad as an OFW (Overseas Filipino Worker). Wala rin daw siyang mapag-i-iwanan sa akin,” the singer added.
She and her Mama Bob had a truly loving relationship. She got the encouragement and support from Mama Bob to be a good singer.
When Mama Bob got sick last year, Angeline said she made time to personally take care of her.
“I miss her,” Angeline said. “Lalo noong Mother’s Day.”

Singer-actress Julie Ann San Jose considers having loved — and lost — as no big deal.
Her first serious relationship was with Benjamin Alves, who now plays Lovi Poe’s leading man in GMA’s top series, “Owe My Love.”
Julie was also rumored to have been with Kim Last, a member of the all-male group, That’s My Bae.
Currently, she is being linked to her “Heartful Café” leading man, David Licauco. But she denies he is courting her.
Their co-stars, though, say that it is “just a matter of time” before they fall in love.

Wonder if it’s true that Richard Yap will again run for congressman in his hometown in Cebu City.
He did make a go at it during the last elections but he did not win.
“At that time he wasn’t known yet as the Ser (yes, spelled with an ‘e’) Chief, we all know now,” said a kibitzer.
Richard was famously called “Ser Chief” in ABS-CBN’s popular series, “Be Careful With My Heart.”
Now a Kapuso, Richard will soon co-star with Heart Evangelista and Paolo Contis in the upcoming series, “I Left My Heart in Sorsogon.”
