Looks like “Star for all Seasons” Vilma Santos-Recto — still awesome at 67 — may be persuaded to do a movie or TV show now that she’s not running for public office in next year’s election.
The actress-politician is taking a hiatus from politics even if she is a shoo-in for senator.
She could have also run for re-election as congresswoman, but we heard it’s her husband, Senator Ralph Recto, who will run in the lower house.

Actor Arjo Atayde has the backing of his parents, Art Atayde and actress Sylvia Sanchez, plus, of course, his girlfriend Maine Mendoza, in his decision to run for congressman of the first district of Quezon City.
He was endorsed by QC Mayor Joy Belmonte, who is running for reelection.
Mayor Joy’s vice mayor will still be Gian Sotto, the only son of Senator Tito Sotto and singer-actress Helen Gamboa.

“Sabi nga nina directors Monti Puno Parungao at Patrick Ferrer, okay lang.”
