How did Gerald Anderson find working with YouTube sensation Gigi de Lana, who makes her acting debut as Heart in “Hello, Heart”?
Gerald admitted to being excited when he learned that he will be paired with Gigi in the iQiyi original set to air next month.
“Nag research ako,” he revealed, “I went to YouTube to watch her videos online.”
We wonder how Julia Barretto, the current girlfriend of Gerald, feels about this?

When the cameras started grinding for “Hello, Heart,” Gerald said he found that even though Gigi was a first timer, she was a revelation.
“ABS-CBN would be so proud of her but her fans magiging prouder sa kanya,” said Gerald.
“She’s outstanding,” he added.
Gerald said Gigi puts her heart in her acting, perhaps it is because her many years singing online became her practice. Gigi is known for her hugot songs which she performs with much emotion.
In “Hello, Heart,” Gerald plays an unsmiling, by-the-books businessman who loves his lola, played by Celeste Legaspi, also a notable singer and actress. Gigi, as Heart, pretends to be married to Gerald, who plays Saul, to make his lola, who has dementia, happy.

Gigi said she, too, was very excited and nervous at the same time when she learned that she will be doing a series with Gerald.
“Syempre, Gerald Anderson ‘yan,” she said, “Bata pa lang ako pinapanood ko na siya.”
Gerald got his start in showbiz after winning third place in “Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition” in 2006. After leaving Kuya’s house, he was paired with Kim Chiu, who was the big winner in their batch. Soon, however, romance bloomed between the two. They have since separated and have their own partners. Gerald has Julia; while Kim and Xian Lim have been together for nine years.
How did Gigi and Gerald develop their on-screen chemistry?
Gerald said that chemistry is not something you create. It’s either you have it or you don’t.
And happily, based on the trailer of “Hello, Heart,” Gerald and Gigi have it in spades.
“It’s magic,” enthused Gerald.
Gigi said Gerald gave her an advice on how to handle stress and pressure.
“Sabi nya mag gym raw ako,” revealed the singer laughingly.
Well, wonder if Gerald will invite Gigi to his gym. The actor is into fitness and has a gym business, among others.

Megastar Sharon Cuneta will finally be seen in ‘FPJ’S Ang Probinsyano’ today, Friday.
It is going to be the actress-singer’s much-awaited return to the small screen.
According to an interview, it was “Probinsyano” lead star and director Coco Martin who approached Sharon with the idea to appear on the top-rating and long-running series on primetime.
And Sharon found Coco’s concept too hard to resist. Aside from the wonderful story, she will also get to reunite with former boyfriend and “Friends in Love” co-star Rowell Santiago.
Sharon and Rowell are the parents of Julia Monte’ character. No need to mention that Julia is Coco’s special someone.
Aside from Coco, Julia and Rowell, Sharon enjoyed her lock-in taping as she was also with veteran actor Tirso Cruz III and Lorna Tolentino, among others.
Sharon said her character’s name is Aurora and she has an interesting back story in the series.
“Marami twists,” said an insider.
“FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” airs Monday to Friday on the Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, and TV5.
