But the 25-year-old is determined to make a go of a career in showbiz, even if it means disrobing on camera.
AJ Raval’s father, Jeric Raval, initially frowned upon her decision to disrobe on camera, especially in her first movie, “Paglaki Ko, Gusto Kong Maging Pornstar.”
But as she was already 23 years old then, (she’s now 25), Jeric chose not to comment.
“Alam niya kasing ako pa rin ang masusunod,” said AJ. “E, gusto kong sumikat. Kaya ang sarili ko ang may karapatang mag-decide.”
Well, she’s even more daring in the new movie “Taya,” with actor Sean de Guzman.
Because of her role in the movie, we heard that her boyfriend, Axel Torres, broke up with her.
Well, “Taya” is not the last time she will go sexy on screen. Viva Films, which has dubbed her as the “Bagong Pantasya ng Bayan,” has lined up two more films for her, to be shown before the year ends.
When asked who her dream leading man is, AJ was quick to reply: Alden Richards.

Alden’s series, “The World Between Us,” goes on a break.
“Tutal daw,” our source said, “Tom Rodriguez, the other leading man in the series, is preparing for his wedding to Carla Abellana in October.
“Eager din sina Dina Bonnevie at Jaclyn Jose to take a rest. Dina daw, dahil she thinks she needs to lose weight .”
Jaclyn, meanwhile, might just spend time with her daughter Andi, who now resides there with her partner, Philmar Alipayo, and their children.
Andi shares co-parenting duties with her ex, Jake Ejercito, in raising their nine-year-old daughter, Ellie.

Beaming from ear-to-ear these days is 17 year-old Francine Diaz, who just transferred to a new house with her family.
They now own a car, too.
“Dating pangarap ko lang iyan sa family ko,” she said. “Nangungupahan lang kami dati.
Nagje-jeep. At malaking problema tuwing katapusan ng buwan kung saan kukuha ng pang-renta.”
Francine’s father used to be an OFW until he lost his job. Thus, it became difficult for the parents to raise their six kids.
Things started to change for the better when Francine became part of the Kapamilya soap, “Kadenang Ginto.” She later became introduced as part of the Gold Squad with the other young stars in the series, Andrea Brillantes, Kyle Echarri and Seth Fedelin. She also started getting endorsements.
And lucky for her, right after the ending of “Kadenang Ginto,” she got an offer to do a new series. She will soon be teamed up in a show with Donny Pangilinan.

Robi Domingo could have been an actor. He has, after all, the looks, the height, the stance…
“Acting talents?”
Well, he’s not sure of that.
“Pero, may backers ako, kung ginusto ko,” he said. “I have good friends who are directors in the business.
“Good PR is one of my assets,” he further said.
That he chose hosting was wise because he’s never without an assignment. He is said to be one of the highest paid too.
Robi just turned producer with the Kumu talk show, “Call Me Maybi,” that he hosts with Maymay Entrata.
His girlfriend, Maiqui Pineda, co-produces it with him.
Robi and Maiqui were former classmates at the Ateneo de Manila University.

Kapamilya stars Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil might not be visible on screen but they are busy.
Liza has her endorsements and they both have businesses.
The two are not planning to get married yet, but are preparing for it.
“Basta,” Enrique stated. “We are already preparing for our future family.”
