Actress Sylvia Sanchez and her husband Art Atayde are both busy campaigning for their son, Arjo Atayde, who is running for congressman in the first district of Quezon City.

“They create a stir when they are together, lalo may kasama silang celebrities, like Arjo’s sister Ria (Atayde) and Jake Cuenca,” said a Quezon City resident.

“We are all hoping that Arjo wins,” said Jake. “Impressive, as it is, ang kanyang personal credentials. He is a graduate of Reedly International School and La Salle Greenhills. As an actor, he is an award winner.”

After the elections, Sylvia and Ria will start work on “Misis Piggy.”

“Excited kami ng Mama ko,” said Ria, a De La Salle graduate.

They look cozy in many photos together.

Trina plays basketball at the Ateneo de Manila University.

As far as Trina Candaza is concerned, she and actor Carlo Aquino are over.

Although, they are co-parenting their daughter, Enola Mithi, it does not mean that have agreed to continue being lovers.

The baby has her own carer, who goes wherever the baby is.

It’s the ex-couple’s agreement that their daughter lives with Trina, said someone close to Trina.

Carlo confirmed their separation at the media conference of “How to Move on in 30 Days,” his current project with Maris Racal.

The series started airing on April 4 on YouTube.

CRISTINE REYES

Guess who is back to GMA 7 after 12 years?

Cristine Reyes, an original talent of the network, that’s who!

Cristine was part of the first batch of “StarStruck” with Jennylyn Mercado, Yasmien Kurdi, Katrina Halili and Nadine Samonte.

She admits she was treated well by the network in spite of being eliminated early in the reality competition.

She later decided to transfer to ABS-CBN, where, she admits, she was also given meaty roles. But her career took a backseat when she married Ali Khatibi, a motocross enthusiast, host and actor.

Cristine is now 33 years old. She has a seven-year-old daughter with Ali, Amarah.
She and Ali are now estranged.

On her return, Cristine no longer wants to accept sexy roles. She wants to concentrate on drama acting, which she will do on GMA’s “Apoy Sa Langit.”

Cristine is, of course, the younger sister of Ara Mina.

Ara is part of “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” and is also campaigning for her husband, Dave Almarinez, who is running for Laguna representative.

Ara likes to accompany Dave in his house to house campaign.

“May kakaibang karisma si Dave,” Ara noted.

“Kung sabagay, ang kakaibang karisma niya rin ang naging attraction niya sa akin,” she added.

Dave is the CEO and president of the Philippine International Trading Corporation. He used to be a board member in Laguna.
