The award-winning actress-singer is one of the nominees of the National Organization for Responsive Advocacies for the Arts (NORAA) party-list.
This is not, of course, the first time that Nora is running for public office. The superstar, an Iriga native, ran for governor of Camarines Sur in 2001.
She lost.
In any case, many have noticed that Ate Guy is no longer as active in showbiz. Is it because she is no longer getting good offers? Or is there no more clamor from fans to see actresses her age — she’s 68 — on screen?

Dingdong Dantes reportedly sent a note of regret to his daughter Zia as he was unable to give her a big hug when she turned six years old last November 23.

Dimples and Angel are best friends.
“I was already married when we met and became good friends,” said Dimples. “I married very young and out eldest, Callie is now 17 years old. She’s now in college at the De La Salle University.”
Their youngest child, Alonzo, 5, is a popular commercial model.
As for Angel, she married Neil Arce in July of this year.
Neil has a son from a previous relationship. She and Angel are praying for a healthy child or children. Why not twins?

Heart Evangelista has decided to venture into a new business, a wellness program with her sister, Camille Ongpauco.
The Ongpaucos are well known as restaurateur because of their Barrio Fiesta chain of restaurants.
“Well, itong bagong business naman namin ng kapatid ko, it’s more of improving one self,” said Heart. “It’s under Pure Living. Make an effort to become part of it.”
Even if she is busy with Pure Living and her other endeavors, Heart has not turned her back on showbiz. Her current series on GMA, “I Left My Heart in Sorsogon,” is rating well.
Aside from starring in the romantic series, Heart was actually the one who suggested to GMA management that a show be set in the idyllic province that has her husband, Chiz Escudero, as governor.
Heart gets to work with Richard Yap and Paolo Contis in “I Left My Heart in Sorsogon.”
Mavy Legaspi and Kyline Alcantara are the young love team featured in the series.

“I’m more than just in love,” Khalil Ramos reportedly gushed to friends after the virtual press con of the GMA series “Stories From the Heart: Love on Air.”
Of course, he is referring to none other his girlfriend Gabbi Garcia, his leading lady in “Love on Air.”
“Yes, ‘yung tipong may mangyayaring matagal mo ng plano, pero biglang nangyari ang ‘di mo inaasahan?” he continued.
His friends wonder if he is so smitten he is thinking of marriage. But Khalil, 25, and Gabbi, 22, are still young and as they have said in interview, the two are eager to take advantage of all the opportunities coming their way.

Nadine Lustre and Viva Films have kissed and make up.
She has finally started work on the Vivamax movie “Greed” under director Yam Laranas.
The project also stars Diego Loyzaga and Epy Quizon.
On the personal front, Nadine is said to be in a stable relationship with Christophe Bariou, who has businesses in Siargao. The actress has reportedly bought a property in Siargao and is a registered resident.
“Simple, pero masaya” was how she reportedly describes life now.
“’Di magastos,” she added.
Does she have any plans of getting married to Christophe? She was asked.
Smiling, Nadine replied: “’Di pa nagpu-propose. Ako rin, hindi ko siguradong gusto ko nang mag-asawa.”
