New star Paolo Gumabao is not ashamed to admit he did a number of scenes exposing his body in the upcoming film, “Lockdown,” directed by Joel Lamangan.

“Lockdown” is about cyber-sex, Paolo said. “Kaya hindi lang actually ako dito ang nagbare ng sarili, kung hindi ang ilan ko pang co-stars.

“Hindi lang kasing-laki ang roles nila, compared sa akin,” he continued. “Very relevant to the times ang kuwento ng movie. Kapit ka sa patalim para kumita lang. Para may masustento ka sa iyong pamilya. Kaya may mga eksenang maiiyak ka. You will empathize with the character I am portraying in the film.

“Ang galing pa namang director ni Direk Joel, ‘di ba?” he added.

In the movie, Paolo said that his dad, actor Dennis Roldan, will be proud of him.

“Sana he will be able to watch the movie,” he said.

As is common knowledge, Dennis is still serving time in prison.

Now 65 years old, Dennis, whose real name is Mitchell Gumabao, was an actor, top basketball player, businessman and former congressman.

Married to former top model Lorli Imperial, Dennis also has a beauty queen daughter, Michelle Gumabao, and another actor son, Marco Gumabao.

Paolo revealed that he did not know Dennis was his dad until he was 15 years old.

His mother, Paolo revealed, was pregnant with him when she married her Taiwanese husband.

He thought the man who raised him, his mother’s husband, was his father.

Paolo finally met Dennis when he was 15 years old.

According to Paolo, after a thorough once over and upon learning who his mother is, Dennis no longer asked for a DNA test to confirm their relationship.

“Lockdown” is scheduled for streaming on July 23.

‘Angel turned 36 last April 23 and she is being urged by friends to consider having kids right after tying the knot with Neil.’

Angel Locsin

While there seems an exodus of Kapamilya talents, actress Angel Locsin remains vocal about staying in ABS-CBN.

Not even after her show, “Iba ‘Yan,” had been cancelled.

She was emotionally affected, she said, because it’s a public service show, which is something she loves.

“Timing din ang cancellation ng program sa preparation na ginagawa namin ni Neil (Arce, her fiancé) sa nalalapit naming kasal, which we hope and pray will finally happen na this year.

“We were supposed to get married last year, if the pandemic did not happen,” she explained.

Neil is a producer, director and businessman, too.

Angel turned 36 last April 23 and she is being urged by friends to consider having kids right after tying the knot with Neil.

Neil has a son, Joaquin, from a previous relationship.

Angel’s friends reportedly said: “You will discover how most pleasant it is to have children.

Lalo when you watch them grow and become the persons you want them to be. Kaya make sure you have more than one.”

Bayani Agbayani wants a farm just like that of Bea Alonzo’s. Bayani’s eldest daughter, Thalia, and Bea’s brother, James Carlos, are married and have a child.

“In Iba, Zambales din,” Bayani said. “Pero ‘di kasing laki, of course, ng kay Bea. I heard hers is 16 hectares. Puno na rin ng tanim ang farm. Mostly organic. At mapapakinabangan at pagkakakitaan na in a month or two.”

Bayani would rather not comment on Bea’s recent transfer to GMA.

“Basta, I made sure na bago ako umalis ng Kapamilya, nagpaalam ako sa mga kinauukulan nang maayos,” said Bayani. “I merely explained to them that I need to work, as two daughters of mine are still in school.”

Bela Padilla has denied she has gotten married to boyfriend Norman Ben Bay.

The actress is in Italy and will reportedly be away for two months.

Bela got to know Norman when she and Carlo Aquino did the movie, “Meet Me in St. Gallen” in Switzerland.

Soon, a friendship developed between them. In no time, they fell in love.

Norman is an actor, too.

Asked why she fell in love with him, Bela’s quick reply: “Mabait siya.”

Only 30 years old, Bela thinks she is not yet ready for marriage.

She is actually at the prime of her career. Yes, not just as an actress but as a film producer and screenwriter also.

Upon her arrival from Italy, Bela reportedly will co-star with Korean actor Gun Woo in a movie.

The movie has no title yet.

Kim Gun Woo is 29 years old.
