NATHALIE Hart gave a touching performance in the episode “Runaway Groom” on TV5’s “Wanted: Ang Serye” last Saturday night. She played the role of Mary Rose, a bride-to-be who complained to Raffy Tulfo when she found out her groom, played by Joem Bascon, had no intentions of showing up on their wedding day.
Nathalie is thankful because some actors are jobless due to the pandemic but she continues to get work both on TV and the movies. She’s now filming a new movie for Viva, “Kunwari Mahal Kita,” with Ryza Cenon and Joseph Marco and she’s about to start a new teleserye on TV5 with Christopher de Leon, Alma Moreno and Beauty Gonzales. This Saturday, she appears in “Maalaala Mo Kaya” playing her first role as a lesbian opposite Jane Oineza.
Aside from being an actress, she has now also become an entrepreneur. She put up her own company, Gayatree Organics that feature high quality skin care preparations.
“I made a lot of studies and with the help of certified chemists from Taiwan and Australia, we came up with all natural, plant-based products everyone can use, kahit mga bata, kasi they’re free of chemicals so no allergies or bad side effects at all,” she says. “We have anti-bacterial face and bodywash with turmeric, coconut and other herbs. We also have an anti-aging facial scrub with manuka honey, cenami and walnut and a Vitamin C Serum to improve collagen production and remove dark spots. Meron ding lipstick and other FDA approved products you can check out on our website, gayatree organics.com.”
We tell Nathalie to make her products available online as lots of people now just buy on the internet. Why is the product called Gayatree?
“My daughter’s full name is Penelope Gayatri. Gayatri is a well-known goddess in India, ginawa ko lang parang tree ang spelling for our local consumption. Mura lang ang products namin, anywhere from P300 to P600 lang and pwede for the whole family. They are manufactured in Taiwan.”
Her daughter was with her during the product launch and she’s so adorably cute. She has called it quits with her dad, who lives in India.
“He has not seen our daughter for one year now because of the pandemic. He supports her naman, minsan-minsan, hindi regular at hindi pare-pareho. Ako naman, I don’t demand kasi may work naman ako. I just hope na kapag nag-aral ang anak namin, maging more regular ang support niya.”
Does she have a new love life?
“Wala. May mga nagpapapansin, but honestly, I’m not interested kasi I am so busy with my showbiz work, tapos may business pa ako to attend to, and then I also have to raise my daughter by myself, so right now, I don’t want to be in another relationship at all.”

‘She’s my pride and joy. Natulungan niya kong mawala ang tililing ko — Baron Geisler’
Baron Geisler is back on the big screen in Viva’s movie about mental illness, “Tililing,” touted to be a genre-bending movie that will be shown on Viva Max and in selected theaters starting March 5.
In it, he plays Peter, an orphan who’s 38 years old, but with the mind of a 12-year old because of so many issues he has faced in life.
Baron is now a changed man, he’s married to Jamie Evangelista, they have a daughter named Tali, and they are living in Cebu.
“My views in life have changed,” he says. “My family is now my priority. It’s the most important thing in the world for me, more than any material thing. I’ve changed kasi hindi na ako maangas. Because of my family, ayoko na ng gulo. Dati wala akong inuurungan, but now, kung may maghahamon sa akin, tatakbo na lang siguro ako. Ayoko na ng kaaway. Meditation helps a lot for me to have a more peaceful life.”
He now prefers a simple life. “In Cebu, I learned how to live a simple life. Sobrang simple ang buhay ko kasi sa Cebu, malapit ang dagat, malapit ang bundok, and people are very straightforward.
“I realized you don’t really need a lot to be happy. As long as you have a roof above your head. Food on the table, clothes to wear. Even air conditioning, bonus na lang ‘yan. And having good friends are also important.”
The pandemic has given him so many other realizations. “I consider it as a blessing in disguise. I won’t hide it. I’m crazy and also a recovering alcoholic. Pero marami akong natutuhan in the past year. I got to take care of my own daughter. Hands-on kami ng asawa ko. I would monitor our baby’s milk. O, dalawang lata na lang ito. We need to buy more milk. To have your own child is such a great and wonderful experience. She’s my pride and joy. Natulungan niya kong mawala ang tililing ko.”
