DEREK Ramsay was about to move to his newly constructed house when the lockdown was imposed so he was not able to do so.
After his breakup with girlfriend of six years, Joanne Villablanca, he said that he was selling the house.
“Yes, but I changed my mind. Ipinagpatuloy ko na lang ang construction. I really want to prepare to settle down and have a family of my own. But right now, the world is in turmoil and it makes you think if it’d be wise to bring a new life into this chaotic world,” said the actor.
He has a new lady love, Andrea Torres, and judging from their social media posts, they seem so in love. They even show on their social media accounts that they work out together, even if they are in separate locations. At night, they also pray together before going to sleep. It seems like he’s really found The One in Andrea.
“Yes, I think, siya na. I’ve done and gone through so many things. At sa dami ng pinagdaanan ko sa buhay, I think she came at the right time. I consider myself very blessed that someone like her, pumasok sa buhay ko na talagang nagmamahal sa akin. We both made an effort, from how the relationship started and how it grew. I’m 100 percent confident and sure in my heart na siya na talaga.”
Of course, they can’t make plans while the worldwide health crisis is going on. “We don’t know as up to when it will last. GMA has given us a new project, ‘Sanggang Dikit,’ na maganda ang concept, but we don’t even know when it will start taping. So, wait and see muna tayo. Lahat naman, walang magagawa but just wait and see.”
