character na kamumuhian
ng viewers — Dennis Trillo’

DENNIS Trillo has a bittersweet feeling with the ending of “Legal Wives” this Friday.

DENNI S TRILLO

“Nakakalungkot kasi matatapos na, but we’re glad sa magandang reception ng viewers,” he said at the farewell press con hosted by GMA for him and some cast members of the show.

“Salamat sa positive feedback ng mga tao. It warms our heart and we’re glad they enjoyed the show.”

He said “Legal Wives” is one the most memorable shows he has ever done. “Maraming mahihirap na eksena with Maranaw words na we have to deliver. First time kong nagkaroon ng tatlong asawa na from iba-ibang henerasyon. Mami-miss ko ang magandang samahan namin.”

So what is his next project?

“As of now, pahinga muna ako. Inaalagaan ko muna si Jen. Quality time muna with the family. I’m just thankful na ang daming blessings na dumarating sa buhay ko. Busy rin ako editing the videos for our YouTube channel.”

What can he say now that John Lloyd Cruz has now officially signed up with GMA-7?

“I’m happy and excited that he is with us now. Welcome, John Lloyd. I just hope na sana balang araw, mabigyan ng chance na magkatrabaho kami. Puede akong magkontrabida sa kanya since I want to try playing a character na kamumuhian ng viewers.”

Alma Moreno and Rosanna Roces are the senior stars of “#Pornstar 2: Pangalawang Putok,” the sequel to the hit “Paglaki Ko Gusto Ko Maging Porn Star” that launched AJ Raval to stardom. They are now launching no less than four new sexpots in this movie: Sab Aggabao, Stephanie Raz, Kara Gonzales and Ayana Misola.

What can they say about the new girls they are launching in “Pornstar 2”?

“Magaling pumili ang Viva,” said Alma.

“Just think of it as a stepping stone sa career nyo dahil may iba kayong pupuntahan after that. But ‘yung mga baguhan dito, puro palaban sa hubaran.”

How is it working with each other and their other co-stars, Ara Mina and Maui Taylor?

“Kami ni Osang, saluhan kami ng dialogue, we’re like sisters. Si Ara naman, we had the same manager noon, the late Nene Riego, so nagkakasama kami sa shows noon.

JC Santos is happy to be paired for the first time in “More Than Blue” with longtime friend Yassi Pressman, with whom he worked in “Ang Probinsyano” as Coco Martin’s rival over Yassi.

“I was super happy to work with Yassi kasi when I first read the script, very emotional, so natakot ako,” he says. “‘More Than Blue’ is an adaptation of a hit Korean film. Love story na sobrang nakakaiyak. Bawat scene, mabigat. I was intimidated by the material. But with Yassi, nawala yung fears ko kasi she gave everything that I need in every scene, performing with her heart and soul.”

He says he’s really amazed because Yassi has changed a lot since they worked in “Probinsyano” in 2016. “I told her, ibang Yassi ka na ngayon. You are more mature emotionally.

It’s about death, love and sacrifice but kailangan, restrained ang lahat kahit sobrang nakakaiyak. Dapat, ang audience ang umiyak, hindi kami. Sabi nga namin, kawawa ang viewers dito.”

His character sacrificed for Yassi in the story. What sacrifice has he done so far in real life?

“When I was 25, I decided to stay sa Hong Kong for love. I was then performing sa Hong Kong Disneyland. But may nangyari so umuwi rin ako rito. And now, I’m married and have a daughter, so sa family ko naka-focus ang buhay ko.”

How does he feel that theaters are reopening on November 10 and they’ll start streaming on November 19?

“I’m happy with the reopening of theaters.
