‘Thank you, Sarah G [heart emoji] Mahal kita. — Angel Locsin’
ANDREA Torres laughs off the rumor that she and Derek Ramsay are now secretly married after she was seen wearing Derek’s old jersey shirt and they now appear in their own joint vlog. They were so sweet in the vlog’s teaser and so obviously in love with each other.
Netizens add they seem inseparable so it looks like they’ve already tied the knot quietly.
“Kung pakakasal kami, bakit naman namin isesekreto pa, hindi naman itinatago ang aming relationship?” Andrea said.
Derek’s friends and fans say Andrea have all their votes as she seems to be ideal for Derek.
They add that compared to his previous inamoratas, “si Andrea ang pinakamabait sa lahat.”
Derek was previously married to Mary Christine Jolly, with whom he has a son, Austin.
Their marriage has been annulled. His exes include Solenn Heussaff, Angelica Panganiban, Cristine Reyes and Joanne Villablanca, with whom he lived for six years.
Some fans say they are afraid for Andrea as Derek is a womanizer. “Kawawa naman si Andrea,” a netizen wrote. “Mukhang napakabait pa naman. Nagpauto kay Derek na obvious namang narcicistic GGSS (Gwapong Gwapo Sa Sarili).”
Another netizen responded to this: “Bitter dahil hindi nakuha si Derek? Inggit ka lang! To Derek and Andrea, ignore these haters and bashers na ipinaglihi sa sama ng loob. You deserve your own happiness so just hang on to each other.”

Protest activities for the shutdown of ABS-CBN continue last weekend with a noise barrage, motorcades and candle light vigils which are quite well attended right in front of the station. We hope this will somehow make a big impact even if the 70 congressmen have already voted for the non-renewal of its franchise.
The most visible Kapamilya in the protest rallies is Angel Locsin, who delivered an impassioned speech last Saturday night directed to ABS-CBN stars who seem unaffected by what happened to their mother studio.
Other stars who attended the protest rally were sweethearts Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, Jake Cuenca and Kylie Versoza, siblings Arjo and Ria Atayde and Alex and Toni Gonzaga. Also seen was Mylene Dizon, who’s now with GMA-7 doing “Bilangin ang mga Bituin sa Langit.”
One Kapamilya actress who was criticized for not participating in the protest is Sarah Geronimo. Someone said she’s actually managed by Viva, but her detractors say her stock was boosted because of the shows and movies she did with ABS-CBN.
Another fan added that she is not political, but a detractor quickly countered: “Anong hindi?
Kapag pagkakakitaan, political siya! She endorsed Angara and Villar, ‘di ba? Sa halagang magkano?”
Then someone declared she cannot join the protest because her husband, Matteo Guidicelli, is a Duterte supporter. “Alangan namang kalabanin niya ang mismong asawa niya e kakakasal lang nila?”
As of this writing, though, Sarah has finally issued a statement sympathizing with the displaced ABS-CBN employees.
Angel immediately reacted to it, posting on her Instagram Story: “Thank you, Sarah G [heart emoji] Mahal kita.”

Thea Tolentino is now a college degree holder. She graduated online recently from Trinity University Asia with a bachelor of arts in business administration. Many netizens expressed their admiration for her since she persisted on studying even if she was busy with drama shows on GMA, where she became known as one of their most effective contravidas. “By sheer determination and perseverance,” she said. “Ever since kasi, importante sa family namin ang edukasyon kaya naging pursigido akong magpatuloy sa pag-aaral kahit sobrang busy na sa trabaho. Kung minsan, from taping, dumidiretso ako sa school na ni hindi ako nakapag-shower, gan’on. Naging very considerate din naman ang mga professor ko. They understand my situation. Now, I can proudly say that I have a college diploma.”
About her love life, Thea admits she has broken up with Mikoy Morales before the lockdown.

Bela Padilla had a scary time when a stalker tried to get into the condo where she’s staying. She went to the fiscal’s office in Mandaluyong to file a case of unjust vexation. She said was having dinner in her condo unit when the guard in their building informed her that a man who claims to be a classmate of hers in Davao wants to enter and visit her.
She told the guard she never studied in Davao and the man said he’s her boyfriend. The man still insisted on seeing her so Bela talked to the chief of security and told them to call their Barangay Wack-Wack as she’s so scared and she doesn’t know the man at all. Even her neighbors got alarmed and asked her to stay in their unit for safety. It took sometime before the stalker and his companions were convinced to leave.
Bela said the man messages her hair stylist every night. “Ang dami niyang sinasabi,” she said in a TV interview. “Alam niya kung saan ako nagte-taping. Alam niya kung saan ako pumupunta. And pinipilit niya talaga na boyfriend ko siya. So nakaka-freak out.”
Bela has every reason to get scared. In the US, they take stalking seriously as there have been many cases of women being physically harmed by their stalkers. We advise her to watch some flicks on Netflix about stalking so she can get an idea on what to do, like “The Occupant,” “You Get Me,” “Secret Obsession,” “One Hour Foto” and the series “You.”
