OGIE Alcasid officially welcomes Ian Veneracion as one of his talents in his own talent management agency. In March 2020, they also held a press con for their concert, “Kilabotitos,” which had to be cancelled due to the pandemic.
“Now, we’re ready to move forward with this face to face press con,” said Ogie. “And we look forward to doing more live performances. I just came from a concert tour in California and unang salang ko, naiyak ako kasi first time ko to perform again in front of a live audience.”
So why did Ian agree to be managed by Ogie?
“This is mainly out of friendship,” Ian said. “When I went into singing, I was so flattered because Ogie, an established singer-songwriter, was so encouraging, he really welcomed me and even produced a concert for me at Music Museum. He’s very supportive and it’s nice for an artist like me na may mag-manage ng aking schedules. Malaking bagay ‘yun so
I can concentrate on honing my craft.”
Ogie and Ian plan to bring their “Kilabotitos” concert to the US later.
“It’s really nice to be touring again,” says Ian. “I will have a concert in Iloilo on Independence Day, June 12. Hopefully, Ogie and I can also bring our show to the Middle East and Europe so we can visit our kababayans there.”
Ian has just finished recording a new song, “Ninuno,”and he showed us its music video. He also shot for a new series, “Afterkill,” staying one month in Iloilo to finish the whole series.
His co-stars are Andrea Torres and Joel Torre. So how long is the managerial contract he signed with Ogie? Ogie replied: “Lifetime daw.”
“No,” said Ian, “kahit mawala ako’t ma-resurrect uli, siya pa rin daw ang magma-manage sa akin.”

‘I’ve been very lucky that I get to experience it twice in my lifetime. — Alice Dixson’
Alice Dixson is now 52 years old and she is definitely one of the most well-preserved golden girls we’ve ever seen. She is also getting positive feedback for her very convincing portrayal of Ingrid Domingo, the main contravida in “First Lady” who is determined to bring down her ex-boyfriend, Pres. Glenn Acosta (Gabby Concepcion), and his First Lady, Melody (Sanya Lopez).
Alice is known to keep her personal life very private but she surprised a lot of people when, on Mother’s Day, she posted on Instagram photos of her two daughters.
The only one the public knows is her younger child, Aura, who was conceived through surrogacy. But in her post, she also shows the picture of her eldest daughter named Sassa.
With the photos she posted, Alice wrote: “Being a mom is a gift. I’ve been very lucky that I get to experience it twice in my lifetime. First with Sassa, our panganay na nang dumating, nabuo ang aming munting pamilya.”
She says she never got to formally introduce Sassa in public before because the girl’s father was too protective. Take note that Alice is also protective of the identities of the fathers of her daughters and she has never even mentioned their names in any of her postings.

Vivamax nymphet Denise Esteban shows in her first starring role, “Doblado,” that she can give reigning Vivamax sexpots like AJ Raval and Angeli Khang a run for their money. She’s not just more than willing in the disrobing department but also proves that she can act well in her dramatic scenes. What is her hardest scene in the movie?
“Pinakamahirap ‘yung rape scene with Mark Anthony Fernandez,” she says. “Mahirap gawin ‘yung eksena as very sadistic ‘yung character niya at binaboy ako. Sinaktan niya akong mabuti kaya nagkapasa-pasa ako.”
She’s only 19 years old and we’re sure she will be bashed for her decision to do graphic sex scenes. How does she react to bashings?
“I told myself pagpasok ko rito that you cannot please everyone, so just ignore negative comments. As far as I’m concerned hindi naman porn ang ginagawa namin. Alam naming we fake it lang, acting lang ang lahat.”
She says it’s so easy for people to judge them who do sexy flicks. “Madali naman manghusga. Dati, wholesome ako, wala namang pumapansin sa akin. When friends saw my first movie, ‘Kaliwaan,’ nasaktan ako kasi ‘yung mga malalapit pa sa’kin, sila pa ang hindi nakaintindi na I’m just doing a job as an actress.”
And now, she plays another daring role in a series that starts airing on June 5, “High on Sex. “I play Issa, a high school student that everyone thinks is a whore, but the truth is virgin pa ako.”
