Representatives of 22 leading Indian companies in the field of electricals, industrial electronics and related services are exploring investment opportunities in the Philippines.
The Embassy of India in Manila said in a statement 25 officials from members of the Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufactures Association (IEEMA) were in Manila on July 11 for organized a business -to- business (B2B) networking event.
About 70 Filipino entrepreneurs who are engaged in electricals and industrial electronics sector also participated in the event for potential collaborations with their Indian counterparts.
During the visit, the IEEMA delegation will also be visiting various sites/locations and interacting with a range of Filipino stakeholders in the electricals and allied sectors.
It is also expected that this B2B event and the IEEMA delegation visit to Philippines will increase the mutual sourcing of electrical/electronics products as part of diversification of supplies and integration of value chains.
