Prior to the operation, PhilHealth special investigator Michael Ani reported to the ACG the “prevalent online selling” of falsified PhilHealth ID cards.

The ACG then monitored Facebook accounts until an operative, who posed as a buyer convinced the suspect to sell him PhilHealth ID cards. An  entrapment operation was set up, leading to De Castro’s arrest.

The suspect was brought to the ACG headquarters in Camp Crame.

She will be charged with violation of Article 172 (Falsification of Public Documents) of the Revised Penal Code.
