Wanted Taiwanese nabbed in Makati

OPERATIVEs of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) and Bureau of Immigration arrested a Taiwanese wanted for human trafficking last Monday night in Makati City.

Another Taiwanese was also arrested for alleged involvement in scamming and illegal online gambling, according to NCRPO director Maj. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr.

Nartatez named the arrested Taiwanese as Yuan Bo-Chun and Lin Jyun-Ze, residents of MPT Suites, Kalayaan Ave., Poblacion in Makati City.

Bo-Chun was nabbed by operatives of the Regional Special Operations Group, Regional Intelligence Division (RSOG-RID) of NCRPO and BID’s Fugitive Search Unit at MPT Suites at around 7 p.m.

He was nabbed on the strength of a BID mission order in connection with an arrest warrant issued against him by the Taiwan District Court for human trafficking.

Seized during the operation were four rifles and pistols, several magazines, assorted ammunition and handcuffs.

During the operation, operatives also apprehended Lin Jyun-Ze, who was “caught in flagrante manning several workstations that operate various scamming and illegal online gambling sites.”
