SOME 2,500 production workers are currently in demand in the country, according to the Bureau of Local Employment (BLE).
In a social media post, the BLE said production workers are the most in demand workers in the country during the period of August 26 to September 1 at 2,536 job vacancies.
Coming at second place, it said, are production machine operators with 2,343 job vacancies.

Utility workers are in third place with 2,227 employment opportunities.
The BLE said there are 1,221 vacancies for customer service assistants while there are 1,105 job vacancies for executive assistants.
