Vice President Leni Robredo was welcomed by Zamboanga City Mayor Isabelle “Beng” Climaco-Salazar and her supporters clad in pink when she arrived at the Zamboanga City Hall on Wednesday afternoon, January 26. VP Leni’s visit to Zamboanga City was the last leg of her trip to several areas and provinces in the Zamboanga Peninsula and Sulu archipelago.
VP Leni turned over 500 pieces of COVID Care Kits funded by the Office of the Vice President (OVP) to the City Government of Zamboanga, and witnessed the official launch of Ayudahan E-Konsulta, a free online service providing teleconsultation support to out-patient cases in the city.
Modelled after the OVP’s Bayanihan E-Konsulta, Ayudahan E-Konsulta’s services include COVID-19 and mental health teleconsultation, free swabbing, deployment of emergency units to attend to patients who need the LGU’s ambulances, and provision of COVID Care Kits containing monitoring sheets, medicines and vitamins, and medical gadgets and supplies.
