THE US Embassy in Manila yesterday said its office on Roxas Boulevard in Manila and affiliated offices will be closed to the public on Thursday in observance of Thanksgiving Day.
In an advisory, the embassy also said regular services will resume on Friday.
Thanksgiving Day, which is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of November, originated as a harvest festival and has been celebrated since 1789. — Cyra Corral
