During a fan meet event in Manila last year, South Korean actor and singer Seo In Guk expressed interest in collaborating with emerging Filipino talent Francine Diaz, sparking an unexpected partnership. The collaboration stemmed from a casual dinner meeting between Seo In Guk and Francine’s manager, John Ling. During the encounter, Seo In Guk was impressed by Francine’s performance of “Pag-Ibig,” finding resonance in her rendition. Despite any initial uncertainties Francine may have had about her singing abilities compared to Seo In Guk’s, the latter sensed a dynamic synergy between them.

The resulting collaboration, titled “My Love,” was released last March 2 under Universal Records. The track combines Seo In Guk’s seasoned artistry with Francine’s  emerging talent, promising a unique blend that resonates with listeners. The song presents a refreshing take on love through its conversation-style format, offering a twist to traditional love songs and potentially serving as a heartwarming soundtrack.

In addition to this collaboration, Seo In Guk has recently garnered praise for his role in the K-drama series “Death’s Game” and showcased his versatility as the lead actor in the Broadway musical “Monte Cristo,” available for streaming on various digital platforms.
