POLICE operatives rescued a Taiwanese kidnap victim and arrested two of her Chinese abductors in Malabon City last Sunday night.
A report from the Malabon City police station said the 35-year-old victim revealed that she was raped twice by the leader of her abductors.
Arrested were Zhen Zi Lin, 34 and Ma Pun Xin, 36, both Chinese and residents of No. 89, Block 5, Oak Street, Victoneta North, Barangay Potrero in Malabon.
The victim said she was about to meet with a friend, one Axin, when she was abducted by seven Chinese males in Malate, Manila last August 14.
She said she was blindfolded and brought to the residence of the arrested suspects.
The victim said she sent cash to the suspects — a total of $114,233 (about P6.43 million) — in four online transactions.
Police said the victim managed to call a male Taiwanese friend to seek assistance. The victim’s friend later reported the incident to the police.
Police said the friend was able to trace the victim’s whereabouts through her phone’s Global Positioning System.
