Suspected pusher nabbed, P6.8M shabu seized

OPERATIVES seized P6.8 million worth of suspected shabu weighing around one kilo and nabbed a suspected pusher in a buy-bust operation in Parañaque City last Wednesday.

The suspected pusher, identified as Bayan Ibrahim, 32, is detained at the Paranaque City Police Station and will be charged for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Ibrahim was nabbed on Russia St. in Barangay Don Bosco at about 1:30 p.m. by operatives of the Station Drug Enforcement Unit of Caloocan and Parañaque City Police.

The shabu was in a large tea bag bearing the brand name “Refined Chinese Tea.”

Police also seized the P100,00 buy-bust money, one cellphone, and a white Toyota Vios (ABH-9953).

Nine persons were in anti-drug operations in Mandaluyong, Marikina, and Pasig yesterday.

Brig. Gen. Johnson Almazan, Eastern police district director, identified six of the eight as Jason Graces, 32; Merlinda Collado, 28; Dina Morales, 24; Melanio Eugenio Jr., 53; Rey John Gempisaw, 21; and Cecilio Cabacungan, 46. The two others were 16-year-old girls.
