OPERATIVES of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office killed a suspected drug pusher and arrested his seven cohorts in an operation in San Jose del Monte on Wednesday night.

Col. Lawrence Cajipe, Bulacan PPO director, identified the fatality as Jessie Cruz, a resident of Sitio Pechayan, Barangay Graceville. Nabbed were Aaron Martinez, Rogelio Miranda, Restituto Ellima, Rolando Doncillo, Jessie Buatona, Maryjoy del Rosario, and Ronnie Valcoba.

Cajipe said agents swooped down on Cruz’s lair after an undercover cop bought shabu from him. Instead of peacefully giving up, Cruz reportedly engaged the raiding team to a brief shootout.
