SEVERAL senators, among them Sen. Loren Legarda, yesterday filed their respective priority measures, less than a week after the 19th Congress formally opened.

Senate Secretary Myra Marie Villarica said senators will be given the chance to file up to 10 proposed measures, with the sequence of filing in accordance with the principle of seniority or length of their service.

Among the bills that Legarda, who has served the Senate for 18 years, filed included “One Tablet, One Student Act” which seeks to provide each student from public schools, secondary and state universities with a tablet computer to enable them to take part in online classes.
