At the grand opening of the latest bb.q Chicken at Festival Mall Alabang on Monday, former Ilocos Governor Chavit Singson shared exciting news about the follow-up to the acclaimed series “Vagabond.” The new project will feature a collaboration with international partners, especially from South Korea.

“Vagabond,” a thrilling action-drama series that topped the charts in 2019, aired on Netflix and starred top Korean actors Lee Seung-gi, Bae Suzy, and Shin Sung-rok.

Singson confirmed that the follow-up is underway, stating, “Tuloy ‘yun. Ginagawa istorya. ‘Yung grupo nila hindi magustuhan yung kadugtong. Maraming ginagawa pero tutuloy ‘yun.” He emphasized that the production is focusing on ensuring high quality to avoid any issues with the storyline.

He also revealed that South Korea’s most popular actor is expected to arrive in the Philippines for the project, adding, “Meron din Hollywood na mag-pro-produce dito. Dito rin gagawin.”

As filming progresses in various scenic locations across the Philippines, Singson remains optimistic about the project’s international impact. “I am excited about the potential of ‘Vagabond’ to make waves in the international entertainment scene,” he said.

In addition to the exciting TV project, Singson and his children, Rep. Michelle Singson and Carlene Singson, have introduced their 12th bb.q Chicken outlet at Festival Mall Alabang. “We’re not just here to open a new location but to share the heritage and culinary legacy of bb.q Chicken,” said young CEO Carlene Singson.

Founded in Seoul in 1995, bb.q Chicken is renowned for its “Best of the Best Quality” (bb.q) standard, which combines traditional Korean cooking techniques with modern advancements. The restaurant’s chicken is hand-brushed, hand-battered, and fried at lower temperatures for a longer duration, resulting in a notably crispy texture. bb.q Chicken also offers a range of unique signature sauces.

“We are set to open more soon all over the country,” Carlene added.
