Despite his legislative responsibilities, Senator Bong makes time for his first love – acting. He leads the cast of GMA’s big-budget series, “Walang Matigas na Pulis na Matinik na Misis,” a TV adaptation of a ’90s cult classic starring Bong with his wife, Congresswoman Lani Mercado-Revilla.

“Walang Matigas na Pulis na Matinik na Misis,” starring Beauty Gonzales and Max Collins, among others, premiered on June 4, 2023, and is set to conclude its first season on August 20 after a 12-week run.

In light of the show’s success, Senator Bong confirmed that a second season is already in the works, thanking the audience for their support and enthusiasm.

From his early exposure at the age of 7 in “Tiagong Akyat” alongside his father, Ramon Revilla, Sr., to starring in various films and TV shows, Senator Bong Revilla has left an indelible mark on the entertainment landscape.

As he continues to make waves in both acting and politics, Senator Bong Revilla reflects on the role his father played in shaping his career and shared, “Ang Daddy ko mismo ang naging mentor ko hindi lang sa paggawa ng pelikula kung hindi maging sa pag-arte, siya mismo ang humubog sa akin hanggang sa aking paglaki kaya maging ang pagpalaot niya pulitika ay naman ko rin.”
