FIL-JAPANESE Yuka Saso just couldn’t get her all-around game going yesterday, firing a two-under par 70 to wind up in two-way tie for 10th at the close of the Fujitsu Ladies 2020 golf championships at the Tokyu Seven Hundred Club in Chiba City, Japan.

Five shots behind entering the third and final round, Saso had back-to-back birdies on the last two holes on the way to a 54-hole output of 214 over the par-72 6,659-yard course in the seaport city located 41 kilometers southeast of Tokyo.

The 2018 Asian Games double gold medalist had five birdies in all but also had three bogeys and won 1,935,000 yen (roughly P893,000), finishing five strokes behind 12-year Japanese LPGA Tour veteran and  South Korean champion Shin Jie, who checked in with a 69 for 209.
