FAMILIES who will visit their dead loved ones for this year’s Undas celebration need to have confirmed reservations before they will be allowed to enter public and private cemeteries, memorial parks and columbaries in San Juan City.

Mayor Francis Zamora has issued Executive Order No. 1 series 2020 mandating that advance reservations be made first before families plan their Undas visit.

Under the EO, reservations can be done via online (www.picktime.com/sanjuancityundas2020) or thru phone call (027728-9818 or 0915-162-7152). Cemeteries, memorial parks and columbaries will be open from October 16 to 28, and November 5 to 15. They will be closed from October 29 to November 4 in compliance with an agreement among mayors of Metro Manila.

Visitors can only spend up to 2 hours during their visit at the cemetery on their scheduled day and time.

Cemeteries will only accommodate 30 percent of its full capacity, while columbariums will only have a maximum of 30 persons per batch.

Zamora said minimum health protocols will be strictly imposed, such as the wearing of face mask and face shield, as well as maintaining a one meter social distancing space between family members.

Visitors will be subject to a thermal scan and required to fill up forms and present health declaration documents before they will be allowed entry.

Zamora banned the selling of flowers, candles, food, and other items around and inside the cemetery.
