THE Commission on Elections has cancelled the forthcoming October 26 elections in the 1st and 3rd districts of South Cotabato.

The Comelec has issued Minute Resolution No. 19-0932 in compliance with the decision of the Supreme Court which granted the petition for status quo ante order sought by Rep. Shirlyn Banas-Nograles

The elections body had cancelled the May 13 congressional elections in the two districts following the reconfiguration of the districts of South Cotabato by the House of Representatives.
