THE three-day first regional signing for the successful passers of the 2021-2022 Bar examination in Mindanao kicked off yesterday in Cagayan de Oro City, Mizamiz Oriental.
The Supreme Court earlier said there will be three regional venues with respective schedules for the signing of the Roll of Attorneys of the successful Bar examinees.
The first batch for those who chose to sign in the National Capital Region and Luzon was held last May 4 to 24 at the Supreme Court in Padre Faura, Manila. Another batch of passers will have their roll signing also in the Supreme Court from June 6 to 17.
Those who chose to sign in the Visayas region will do so at the Integrated Bar of the Philippines building in Cebu City from May 30 to June 3.
Based on notice of the Office of the Bar Confidant, the roll signing in Cagayan de Oro City and Cebu City, only those who attended the May 2 oath-taking ceremony at the Mall of Asia Arena will be allowed to sign the Roll of Attorneys.
A total of 8,241 out of the 11,402 examinees or 72.28 percent pass the 2021-2022 Bar exams held last February 4 and 6. It was the first regionalized and digitalized Bar exams in the country’s history.
