It’s been a fulfilling journey for Rayver Cruz since he signed up with GMA in 2018. He’s done drama and showed his hosting, singing and of course, dancing prowess.
But what else does he want to do?
At his recent contract signing with GMA and the renewing of his management contract with GMA Artist, the 32-year-old talked about being more determined to improving and exploring the many other opportunities that will come his way.
“Nakita na nila ‘yung passion and hard work and ‘yung perseverance ko para ayusin ang projects ko na binibigay sa akin kahit bago, first time kumanta sa ‘All Out Sunday,’ hosting sa ‘The Clash,’ ‘yung drive ko, never nawala,” he said.
If there is a chance to do it, he wants to play roles that will show a different side of him.
“In terms of shows, marami pa akong gustong gawin.
Currently, Rayver plays Alex in the afternoon series “Nagbabagang Luha” and is a mainstay of the weekend show “All-Out Sundays.” He is also gearing up for the fourth season of the all-original musical competition “The Clash.”
Present at the virtual signing ceremony last Thursday, September 9 were Senior Vice President for GMA Entertainment Group Lilybeth G. Rasonable, First Vice President For Drama Redgie A. Magno, First Vice President for Business Development Department III Darling de Jesus-Bodegon, Vice President for Corporate Affairs and Communications Angel Javier Cruz, Senior Assistant Vice President for Drama Cheryl Ching-Sy, Senior Assistant Vice President for Alternative Productions Gigi Santiago-Lara, GMA Artist Center Assistant Vice President and Head for Talent Imaging and Marketing Unit Simoun Ferrer, GMA Artist Center consultant Johnny Manahan, GMA Artist Center Senior Talent Manager Vic del Rosario, Senior Program Manager Redgynn Alba, and Rayver’s co-manager Albert Chua.
Rayver turned emotional during the event. I’m so happy!”
