DAVAO City Rep. Paolo “Pulong” Duterte yesterday offered a P1 million cash reward to any individual who can provide information leading to the arrest of the suspect in the killing of a female architect, whose body was found in an open canal in the city last week.
Police have said the 28-year-old victim, Vlanche Marie Bragas, a resident of Megaville who was found dead in Barangay Dacudao in Calinan on the morning of May 17, was also sexually assaulted before she was murdered.
“As we, the Davaoeños, continue to seek justice for Miss Bragas, we offer a P1 million reward to anyone who can tell us the whereabouts of the suspect/s,” said Duterte.
Duterte, saddened by the news, expressed his deepest condolences and sympathy to the bereaved family, saying the victim was just doing the best she can every day to carve out a living.
