THE Philippine Sports Commission is stepping up its bid to bring back locally-based Olympic qualifiers and hopefuls to the gym this week and is set to meet with the owner of Inspire Academy in Calamba, Laguna for a possible training “bubble.”

“The PSC said it will work on a supplemental paper to the JAO (Joint Administrative Order) this coming week so that our Olympic qualifiers and hopeful can finally resume their training,” Olympic squad chief of mission Mariano Araneta Jr. said.

He said this was conveyed during a virtual meeting last Friday hosted by PSC chairman
