Presidential bets to debate poll reforms, economy, education

PRESIDENTIAL candidates in the May 9 polls are set to discuss electoral reforms, education, and economic infrastructures in the forthcoming Town Hall Debate of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) this Sunday, April 24.

Vice presidential bets will discuss social sector issues this Saturday, April 23.

In particular, the Comelec said the candidates will tackle the plight of vulnerable sectors such as indigenous people, persons with disability, work force, farmers, overseas Filipino workers, LGBTQ, and women.

The two debates are the last for the five-part debate series organized by the Comelec for the May 9 polls.

The first presidential debate was held last March 19, followed by another one last April 3.

The first vice presidential debate was held last March 20.
