THE Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) yesterday denied that it is connected to the Continuing Professional Development Providers Association of the Philippines (CPDPAP) because it has been using the agency’s logo in its social media accounts.
In its public advisory, the PRC said that CPDPAP’s use of its logo is not authorized.
“CPDPAP is not in any way connected to PRC, nor is given permission to use the PRC logo, and seek membership to all CPD Providers,” said the PRC.
It said the PRC is not accountable for the accuracy, veracity, or content of any information provided or appearing in CPDPAP website and social media accounts as they are not officially sanctioned by the PRC.
The PRG warned all organizations and institutions against the unauthorized use of the PRC logo, among others.
“The PRC will continuously take measures to protect the public from false and misleading information, especially those concerning CPD,” the PRC said.
